Lupine Prairie Seed Collection Day
When- June 27, 2018 Wednesday 9:00 am - 12:00 (Thursday the 28th is rain day back up)
Why –The Dane County Parks Natural Areas program is partnering with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Join us to help collect lupine for the Karner Blue Butterfly and other pollinators!
Where- U.S. Fish and Wildlife property--Schoenberg Marsh Waterfowl Production Area in just north of the Dane County line near Goose Pond Sanctuary.
What to bring- Drinking water, bug spray and gloves.
Directions take Highway 51 north go straight onto Highway 22 north (at Hwy. 51, Hwy. 22, and Hwy. 60 intersection) then in approx. 1 mile turn right onto Priem Rd. Near the east end of Priem Rd. is a small parking where we will meet and collect lupine. The parking lot is just west of the intersection of Priem and Harvey Rd.
