Rag Rug Weaving Workshop
Event Dates
- 03/25/2023 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Event Description
Rag rug weaving is an excellent way to recycle and upgrade cloth into something functional, beautiful and homemade. Historically, these creations were used as rugs all over the house, but today you could use them for just about anything from a bed cover to a wall hanging. In this class, you will learn how to make a 15" x 20" rag placemat or cushion. All materials will be furnished. If special colors are desired, please bring old bedsheets or other fabric of your choice. What to bring; a sack lunch, something to drink and a sharp pair of scissors. Ticket price: $58 (SFP Friends members $50). Instructor: Clayton Smith from Irish Ridge Alpacas, LLC.
