Our department is involved with several solar projects that provide energy at our offices, buildings, shelters, and parks. The graphs below display the amount of energy being generated in megawatts (Mw) on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis. To put these numbers in perspective, one megawatt provides enough energy to power 800 average American homes for a year or travel 25 million miles with an electric car.
